I hold a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from the University of Georgia. I also have cerebral palsy, and use a power wheelchair to get around. The only reason why I am telling you that is so that you will have a better idea of where I’m coming from when you read my poetry. I struggled with whether or not to tell you about my disability because although it has shaped my life in many ways it really is not the main engine that drives me. Some of you after reading this will believe that my disability is the main thing that has shaped my life. I just want you to know that that is not the case. There are many different aspects to me. My physical disability is just to one of many. I hope you won’t think of me as a “Disability” poet just because I happen to be disabled. One thing I really dislike about so many people in this world is that they seize on your most salient characteristic, and then proceed to label you based on that characteristic. I hope you are not one of those people.

I like to write poetry, and I am starting this blog as an experiment to see if I can make money from my poetry. My plan is to post my poetry on this website, and then use Internet Marketing techniques to market my poetry. I welcome constructive criticism about my poetry.

I like to grow bonsai trees, and my favorite actress is Sheetal Sheth. I feel that she has been unfairly overlooked by Hollywood, and I’m doing everything I can to promote her career. Also, I am very interested in languages, and speak reasonably good French. I am also interested in learning about Internet Marketing, and how to make money online.
